UJJIVAN DAY 5- SARGAM

  Day 5 16/12/2022 SARGAM  Theme : Creativity for Resilience                    By 9:45am, we reached Seema Cineplex movie theatre and watched the film ‘Avatar:The Way of Water ’              Later there was a valedictory function and reflection session in our college.  Reflection            The 5 days community living camp provided us a lot of memories and experiences.The support and guidance given by our teachers took the programme to another level. Every session of the camp was purposeful and was well planned,well organised and we'll executed. It also strengthened the bond among us.

UJJIVAN DAY 4- SAMYUKTHA

  Day 4 15/12/2022 SAMYUKTHA  Theme : Connectedness for Resilience  GREEN ESCAPES : Scoot off to Thenmala              The fourth day was the day of trip. We had our journey in two KSRTC buses. We reached our destination by around 11:15 am. We visited the adventure zone , leisure zone and the deer park. We returned from there at 4:00pm and reached college by 6:00pm.               The whole journey was an amazing experience. Visiting an eco friendly space where we could get close to nature was a very nice feeling.I just enjoyed the whole journey.

UJJIVAN DAY 3- AATHMA

  Day 3 14/12/2022 AATHMA  Theme : Confidence for Resilience          The third day of the camp began with an aerobics practice session at 6:30 am.  Today's assembly was conducted by group 3and 4. It was followed by an innovative enactment of each group about the theme of the day.         First session was handled by Rev. Fr.Jose Varghese . It was followed by a class , which was handled by Dr.N.Sureshkumar sir (former faculty,DIET and SCERT). Both the classes were very useful and informative. Theme Show             KALEIDOSCOPE, An Enactment.         Afternoon, a theme show was conducted on 'resilience and togetherness ’. Selected students presented themselves as personalities who fought against challenges and harvested victory in their lives. Our group ‘ tried to avoid choosing the common personalities inorder to avoid repetition.             ...

UJJIVAN DAY 2- EKABHAVA

  Day 2 Ekabhava Theme : Cooperation for Resilience          The students reached St.Xaviers Vidya Niketan by 9:30 am with a preparation of two days stay.  The class provided by Dr.Jomy Linu was inspiring and motivating.  She spoke about the importance of accepting ourselves and how insecurities can be the root of our failures.          Afternoon,we went for a survey and collected data from nearby houses.The sports and games at the evening was really funny. Listening to the reflections given by others were also interesting. The entertainment session lasted till 11.00 pm.

COMMUNITY LIVING PROGRAMME- ALL SET TO GO

 Community Living Programmes are essential in connecting the future teachers to the core of  rural life, their problems, needs and it helps in preparing them for social work, practice and community development. Mount Tabor Training College, Pathanapuram, 2021-2023 batch has decided to conduct their five day communityb Living Programme from 12th December to 16th December, 2022. UJJIVAN is the title given to the camp, and the theme of the camp is RESILIENCE THROUGH SOLIDARITY. and the venue will be St. Xavier's Vidyanikethan, Pathanapuram. The general conveners of the camp include Dr. Rosamma Philip, ( Principal, MTTC, Patahnapuram), and Rev. Fr. K A Mathews ( Governing Body Member, MTTC) . Dr.Tharamma George, Dr. Asha K Thomas, Dr Sojia John, and Dr. Remya Stanley are the coordinators of the Programme. Mr. Asif Nazar and Ms. Greeshma Murukan are the student coordinators of the programme.
