FIRST PHASE SCHOOL INTERNSHIP- WEEK 8

This was the last week of our First Phase Teaching Practice. As i got the approval to conduct my achievement test, i did it on 7th of this week. Our team also did a  value inculcation programme in class VIII-B. The value which we chose was PERSEVERANCE, and we presented this value with the help of real life stories, cinematic videos and thought provoking activities. By this time, I have finished the unit in my class IX-I , and began teaching them two major grammar topics using models of teaching. Around Thursday, i finished the portions completely.

On the last day of our teaching practice, my ever favourite students of IX-I gave me their precious feedbacks and love in the form of sweets and cards. My mentor teacher also thanked me by delivering a short speech. She provided feedbacks on my classes, my attitude towards students, and the growth of my teaching abilities from beginning to this stage. I was very happy to hear their words. I distributed sweets to them and thanked them all for their cooperation throughout my journey.

This phase was a really amazing experience in my whole life. There were a lot of things that stressed me and pulled me back. But every morning i found myself falling in love with the job i am doing. Moreover, everytime my students called me teacher, i realised that teaching is not just a job, it is something which we should do with our whole heart and soul.
